Hager–Mead House

The Hager–Mead House, located at 411 Main Street in Waltham, Massachusetts, is a historic 18th-century wood-frame house built in 1795. Notable for its architectural features, including a five-bay facade, Doric pilasters, and a distinctive six-pane transom window, this house reflects the early American colonial style. Originally constructed by farmer Samuel Hager and later sold to blacksmith Stephen Mead, it stands as one of the few remaining examples of its era in the city. The house was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
