Old Rectory, Carcoar

The Old Rectory in Carcoar, New South Wales, is a heritage-listed building designed by renowned architect Edmund Blacket in 1849. Originally serving as a rectory for St. Paul's Anglican Church, it also functioned as a school. The impressive Gothic-style structure features 17 rooms, a basement, two floors, an attic, and beautiful leadlight windows. After years of neglect, it underwent significant restoration in the 1970s and received a Permanent Conservation Order in 1984, ensuring its preservation.
