Make Way for Ducklings sculpture (Boston Public Garden)

The bronze sculpture group Make Way for Ducklings, created by artist Nancy Schön and installed in 1987, depicts Mrs. Mallard and her eight ducklings and is located in the Boston Public Garden near the lagoon. The statue commemorates Robert McCloskey's children's book of the same name and has become a popular landmark and photo spot for families and visitors to the Public Garden. It is maintained by the city and local organizations as part of the park's public art collection.
