Dortberghaus

Dortberghaus is a historic architectural gem located in the heart of Dortmund, designed by renowned architect Emil Rudolf Mewes in the late 1930s. Initially intended as an administrative building for the Gelsenkirchen Mining-AG, it features a U-shaped design that was only partially completed before World War II. After the war, it served as a municipal building for the Dortmund City Council until 2004. Currently, there are exciting plans to transform this iconic structure into a luxury hotel, making it a potential highlight for future visitors.
