Scholz Garten beer garden

Scholz Garten, located near the University of Texas campus, was established in 1866 and operates as a traditional German beer garden and restaurant. Many sources describe it as one of the oldest continuously operating businesses in Texas; that characterization is sometimes debated among historians.
