Union Theological Seminary - historic center for training missionaries

Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York was founded in 1836 and is located on the Morningside Heights campus. The seminary has historically trained clergy and missionaries and houses the Burke Library, which contains extensive archival collections on missionary activity and church history. Union continues to offer academic programs and courses in missiology, interfaith engagement, and global theology.
