Austin Central Library Rooftop Garden and Apiary

Austin Central Library, opened in 2017, features a publicly visible rooftop garden planted with native species and demonstration beds. The rooftop also includes an apiary of beehives installed as part of the library's sustainability and urban agriculture initiatives. The garden and rooftop amenities are part of the library's design to showcase green infrastructure in downtown Austin.
