Palace of Fine Arts - 1915 Exposition Survivor

The Palace of Fine Arts was built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition and is one of the few surviving monumental structures from that fair in San Francisco. Its classical rotunda and lagoon have been restored and remain a distinctive example of Beaux-Arts exposition architecture in the city. The site functions as a public park and event venue and is frequently cited as an iconic, single-standing remnant of the 1915 exposition.
