National Atomic Testing Museum

The National Atomic Testing Museum opened in 2005 and is operated by the Nevada Test Site Historical Foundation. Its exhibits document the history of nuclear weapons testing at the Nevada Test Site and related Cold War programs using artifacts, archival material, and interactive displays. The museum includes recreated environments such as a fallout-shelter exhibit and displays of monitoring equipment used during testing.
