Christ Church Cathedral

Christ Church Cathedral is the cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas and the congregation dates to 1839. The cathedral occupies a Gothic Revival building on Texas Avenue in downtown Houston; the present building dates to the early 20th century. It functions as both a parish church and the diocesan seat and participates in civic and liturgical events in the city.
