Heurich House Museum (Brewmaster's Castle)

The Heurich House Museum, built for brewer Christian Heurich between 1892 and 1894, is a well-preserved Romanesque Revival mansion that showcases late 19th-century domestic architecture and original fixtures. The house contains intact furnishings, original catalogs, and brewery-related artifacts documenting Heurich's brewing business and Washington social history. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and operates as a historic house museum.
