Benjamin Martin House

The Benjamin Martin House, constructed in 1812 near Finney, Kentucky, is a remarkable example of Federal-style architecture and one of the few surviving brick houses from that period in Barren County. Built by Benjamin Martin Sr., a Virginian who settled in Kentucky in 1784, the house reflects the historical significance of early American settlement. It was recognized for its cultural heritage and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers interested in early American history.
