Teaneck Armory

The Teaneck Armory, located in Teaneck, New Jersey, is a historic facility built in 1936, designed by renowned architect Louis S. Kaplan. Spanning 13.66 acres, it has served various purposes over the decades, including being the home of the New Jersey Americans basketball team in the late 1960s. The armory has hosted a wide range of events, from concerts and political rallies to film shoots and midget car races. Notably, it features military vehicles on display and has been a base for the New Jersey National Guard, with units deployed to various global locations. In 2010, it proudly displayed a significant garrison flag that had previously flown over Wall Street after the September 11 attacks, making it a site of both historical and cultural importance.
