Colman Dock (Seattle Ferry Terminal)

Colman Dock, at the foot of Yesler Way on the central waterfront, has been a primary Seattle ferry and steamship landing site since the 1880s and is the main terminal for Washington State Ferries in Seattle. The dock has been rebuilt several times after fires and structural replacements, but the site remains the long-standing maritime transportation hub connecting Seattle with Kitsap Peninsula and Bainbridge Island. Its continuous use for over a century reflects the city’s reliance on ferry infrastructure for regional transit.
