Dike-Orne House

The Dike-Orne House was a historic farmhouse located in Winchester, Massachusetts, built around 1850. Notable for its Gothic Revival architecture, it featured unique vergeboard decorations and was one of the few mid-19th century farmhouses to survive into the late 20th century. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989 but was unfortunately demolished in 1996. It reflects the area's agricultural history and the lives of its owners, who often balanced farming with other trades.
