Perry-Cherry House

The Perry-Cherry House, built around 1904 and located in Mount Olive, North Carolina, is a remarkable example of Classical and Colonial Revival architecture. This historic two-story frame dwelling features a striking two-story semi-circular portico supported by monumental Ionic columns. Altered between 1933 and 1936, the house was once home to L. G. and Bessie Welling Geddie, early investors in the famous Mt. Olive Pickle Company. Recognized for its historical significance, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 and is situated within the Mount Olive Historic District, making it an interesting stop for tourists and researchers alike.
