Toyon Hall

Toyon Hall is a historic upperclassman dormitory at Stanford University, designed in 1923 with Romanesque and Mediterranean Revival architecture. Originally housing 150 men, it now accommodates 158 co-ed residents in mostly two-room doubles. After a significant renovation in 2000, it features modern amenities and a spacious lounge that hosts various campus events. Residents dine at the nearby Arrillaga Family Dining Commons, following the closure of the traditional Eating Clubs in 2009. Notably, Toyon Hall gained media attention in 2000 for a Washington Post exposé on software piracy on campus.
