Chaloner House

The Chaloner House, located at 3 Pleasant Street in Lubec, Maine, is a historic lodging house built in stages, with completion around 1818. As one of the few surviving Federal period buildings in Lubec, it features a distinctive saltbox profile and retains much of its original interior woodwork and fireplaces. The house was initially owned by William Chaloner, who expanded it to accommodate his large family and lodgers. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture and history.
