Fifth Third Center (Evansville)

The Fifth Third Center is the tallest building in Evansville, Indiana, standing at 226 feet with 15 stories. Completed in 1981, it features 180,500 square feet of space and an attached parking garage for 450 vehicles. Originally designed for Citizens National Bank, the skyscraper was part of a larger downtown redevelopment initiative. Notable for its construction history, a crane accident occurred during its build, narrowly avoiding serious injury. Today, it serves as a landmark in the city and reflects the architectural and economic development of downtown Evansville.
