Ysleta Mission - historic parish on the Mission Trail

The Ysleta Mission (Nuestra Señora de la Purisima Concepcion de Acuña) traces its origins to a post–Pueblo Revolt Tigua community and is often cited as the oldest continuously operated parish in Texas. The mission’s current church building dates to the 19th century and the site remains an active parish and cultural landmark along El Paso’s Mission Trail. It reflects the region’s Spanish colonial and Indigenous histories and hosts religious and community events.
