The Fillmore Detroit (former State Theatre)

The Fillmore Detroit occupies the former State Theatre, a downtown movie palace originally built in the 1920s by theater architect C. Howard Crane. The historic theater building was restored and reopened as the Fillmore, operating as a concert and event venue that preserves much of the site's original ornate auditorium architecture. It remains an active historic performance landmark on Woodward Avenue.
