Military prison, Novocherkassk

The Military prison building in Novocherkassk, Russia, is a historic structure that showcases Greek Revival architecture and dates back to 1856. Originally serving as the guardhouse for the Imperial Russian Army, it now functions as the military commandant's headquarters. The building features a striking Ionic portico, decorative windows, and a sculptured frieze, making it one of the oldest preserved architectural examples in the city.
