La Concha lobby preserved at the Neon Museum

The distinctive shell-shaped lobby from the La Concha Motel was moved to and now serves as the Neon Museum's visitor center on Las Vegas Boulevard North. The lobby, saved when the motel was demolished, anchors the museum's collection of historic signs and architectural elements from Las Vegas' mid-century era. The Neon Museum displays and preserves these artifacts as part of the city's visual and cultural history.
