Frankish Building

The Frankish Building, located at 200 South Euclid Avenue in Ontario, California, is a historic site designed by Charles Frankish and his son between 1915 and 1916. As an early investor in Ontario, Frankish played a significant role in the city's development, including railroad construction and urban planning. The building features a Second Renaissance Revival architectural style, characterized by its flat facade, rusticated quoins, and a bracketed wooden cornice. It originally housed storefronts on the ground floor and apartments above. The Frankish Building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 11, 1980, making it a notable attraction for tourists and researchers interested in early 20th-century American architecture and local history.
