Gaucho Tower

Gaucho Tower, or Torre del Gaucho, is a striking 24-story high-rise located in the Cordón neighborhood of Montevideo, Uruguay. Standing at 95 meters (312 feet), it dominates the skyline at the intersection of 18 de Julio Avenue and Constituyente Avenue. The tower is named after a nearby monument honoring the gaucho, a symbol of Uruguayan culture, and is visible from the historic Plaza Independencia. Designed by architect Walter Pintos Risso, this building was initiated in 1974 and completed in 1995, featuring a radio antenna utilized by various stations.
