PPL Building

The PPL Building, the tallest structure in Allentown, Pennsylvania, stands at 321.6 feet and serves as the headquarters for PPL Corporation, the region's primary electricity provider. Completed in 1928 and designed by notable architect Harvey Wiley Corbett, the building features unique bas reliefs and was once recognized as the best example of a modern office building. It is known for its festive nighttime illuminations, particularly during the Christmas season. Recently, plans were announced to convert the building into commercial spaces and apartments, marking a new chapter in its history. The building has also made appearances in popular culture, including the film Executive Suite.
