The Ritz Theatre & Museum (historic Black performance venue)

The Ritz Theatre & Museum, located in Jacksonville's LaVilla neighborhood, opened in 1929 and served as a major entertainment venue for the city's African American community during the era of segregation. The building was restored and reopened as a cultural center and museum focused on African American performing arts, history, and education.
