SAP Center ('The Shark Tank')

SAP Center at San Jose is the home arena of the NHL's San Jose Sharks and is a primary venue for concerts, conventions, and large community events in downtown San Jose. The arena opened in 1993 (originally as the San Jose Arena) and is commonly nicknamed 'The Shark Tank' by local fans. It regularly hosts local sports and entertainment events that draw Bay Area residents.
