Deer Valley Rock Art Center

Deer Valley Rock Art Center preserves dozens of petroglyph panels carved into dark basalt boulders by prehistoric Indigenous peoples, including Hohokam-era artists. The site is operated by the City of Phoenix and includes a small museum with archaeological displays and interpretive exhibits about the rock art. Short trails lead visitors through the boulder fields to view multiple distinct panels and cupules etched into the stone.
