Kingsley Plantation - oldest surviving plantation house in Florida

Kingsley Plantation on Fort George Island includes what is widely documented as the oldest surviving plantation house in Florida, dating to the late 18th century and associated with Zephaniah Kingsley. The site preserves original outbuildings, slave quarters, and an extensive archaeological record that have informed studies of plantation life and Atlantic-era slavery. It is part of the Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve and is managed by the National Park Service.
