Mud Island River Park Riverwalk

Mud Island River Park features the Riverwalk, a 2,000-foot-long scale model of the Lower Mississippi River that visitors can walk and wade along during warmer months. The concrete river model and the novelty of 'walking the Mississippi' make the site a frequent subject of local jokes and tourist photos. The park also includes an amphitheater and museum focused on Memphis river history.
