Colorado Heights University

Colorado Heights University, located in Denver, Colorado, was a private institution that evolved from the historic Loretto Heights Academy, founded in 1886 to educate women in the Rocky Mountain region. The university, which opened in 1989, was known for its focus on international students and offered a range of programs including business and English as a Second Language. The campus featured 20 buildings, including a landmark Administration Building designed in Romanesque style, and was recognized for its diverse student body representing over 60 countries. Unfortunately, the university closed in 2016 due to declining enrollment.
