Mission San José acequia and irrigation works

Mission San José features remains of an extensive 18th-century acequia network and irrigation infrastructure that supplied water for the mission’s agricultural operations and mills. The site, often called the "Queen of the Missions," contains archaeological and restored features tied to how water was managed across the mission complex.
