Aarhus Female Seminary

The Aarhus Female Seminary, located in Aarhus, Denmark, is a historic building constructed in 1910 for the Indre Mission organization to serve as a women's teachers' seminary. Designed by architect Frits Jensen, the building showcases a distinctive French palace architectural style, characterized by light plastered facades and decorative elements. Over the years, the seminary evolved into a co-ed institution and underwent several name changes, ultimately becoming part of VIA University College before relocating in 2016. The seminary has played a significant role in educating approximately 5,000 teachers, making it an important landmark in the educational landscape of Aarhus.
