Colcord Hotel / Colcord Building (local ghost lore)

The Colcord Building was completed in 1910 as one of Oklahoma City’s earliest steel-and-concrete structures and today houses the Colcord Hotel and event spaces. Staff and visitors have occasionally reported unexplained noises, footsteps, and sightings in the building, and these stories have circulated as part of the hotel’s local ghost lore. Such accounts appear in local history and paranormal-interest coverage but remain anecdotal and contested. The Colcord is also noted for its architectural and historical significance in the city.
