Sun Bowl college football game

The Sun Bowl was first played in El Paso in 1935 and is one of the oldest postseason college football bowl games in the United States. The game is played at Sun Bowl Stadium on the University of Texas at El Paso campus and draws college teams and fans each winter. The Sun Bowl is organized and operated by the El Paso Sun Bowl Association, a local nonprofit that produces the annual event.
