Lelewel Palace

Lelewel Palace, located on Miodowa Street in Warsaw's Old Town, is a historic rococo building originally constructed in 1755 by architect Efraim Szreger. The palace has a rich history, having been built on land once owned by King John III Sobieski. It underwent significant renovations under Constance Lelewel, who transformed it into a prominent example of French-style architecture. The palace features a geometric garden and was influenced by the baroque style prevalent in the region. Although it was destroyed during World War II, its architectural significance remains a point of interest for tourists and researchers alike, showcasing the evolution of neoclassical design in Poland.
