Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum - Field of Empty Chairs

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum commemorates the victims, survivors, and rescuers of the 1995 Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building bombing. The outdoor Memorial’s Field of Empty Chairs-168 chairs representing the victims-and the reflecting pool are widely photographed, especially around the April 19 anniversary, and images from the site are frequently shared nationwide. The museum and memorial share the downtown site and include the restored Survivor Tree and interpretive exhibits documenting the event and aftermath.
