Cadillac Place at 3044 West Grand Boulevard served as General Motors' world headquarters from the 1920s until 1996, centralizing many of the company's administrative, engineering, and design functions. During its time as GM headquarters the building coordinated corporate-scale vehicle development and technological decisions across GM divisions.
