Kingsley Plantation (preserved plantation with tabby slave quarters)

Kingsley Plantation on Fort George Island preserves a late 18th–early 19th century plantation house and a rare surviving set of tabby slave quarters associated with owner Zephaniah Kingsley. The site interprets the plantation economy, Kingsley's complex family history including Anna Kingsley, and the lives of the enslaved people who lived and worked there. Kingsley Plantation is part of the Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve managed by the National Park Service.
