Teviot Row House

Teviot Row House, located in Bristo Square, Edinburgh, is the world's oldest purpose-built student union building, opened in 1889. Operated by the Edinburgh University Students' Association, it features six bars, including The Library Bar and The Underground nightclub, as well as various event spaces like The Debating Hall and The Dining Room. The building hosts regular student events, such as Open Mic Nights and pub quizzes, and serves as a major venue during the Edinburgh Festival, accommodating performances and activities. Architecturally, it showcases a 16th-century Scots palace style with modern extensions, making it a unique blend of history and contemporary culture.
