Providence Park (Multnomah Stadium site) - municipal stadium since 1926

Providence Park originally opened in 1926 as Multnomah Stadium and has been the principal sports stadium on this site since then. Over its history the venue has hosted football, baseball, and soccer and is currently home to the MLS Portland Timbers and NWSL Portland Thorns. The stadium has undergone multiple renovations and expansions while remaining on the original 1926 site. Its continuous use as a municipal sports facility links it to Portland's early-20th-century public infrastructure.
