Kings Mill, Stamford

King's Mill is a historic Grade II listed former watermill located in Stamford, Lincolnshire, England. With origins dating back to the Domesday survey, it gained its name during the reign of King John. The current structure, built in the seventeenth century, has been repurposed over the years, including a conversion into a day care centre in 1967 and a refurbishment by Burghley Estates in 2018. Today, it houses private accommodations and the King's Mill Centre, which serves as offices for Bishopsgate Corporate Finance Ltd and BCF Private Equity. Visitors can enjoy the scenic millstream that separates the town from the Meadows, leading to Melancholy Walk, a picturesque area overlooking grazing meadows.
