Park Avenue Building

The Park Avenue Building is a historic 12-story beaux-arts high-rise located in the Grand Circus Park Historic District of Downtown Detroit. Designed by renowned architect Albert Kahn in 1922, this office building spans over 101,000 square feet. Originally known as the General Necessities Building, it has a rich history, including ownership by Ralph Sachs, who previously owned the now-demolished Hotel Charlevoix. Currently, the building is undergoing redevelopment plans by developer Rino Soave, aiming to transform it into 75–100 apartments along with retail space, contributing to the revitalization of the area.
