Twilight Epiphany Skyspace (James Turrell) - Rice University

Twilight Epiphany is a permanent Skyspace by artist James Turrell on the Rice University campus that combines a light sequence with choral and instrumental soundscapes at sunrise and sunset. The installation consists of a small pavilion with an oculus and timed light shows that alter spectators’ perceptions of the sky. The work is open to scheduled public programs and is a noted contemporary-art attraction in Houston.
