Colchester Legion Stadium

The Colchester Legion Stadium, located in Truro, Nova Scotia, is a versatile 1,625-seat arena that has been a hub for various sports and community events since its opening. It features six team dressing rooms, a medical room, and a heated lounge with views of the ice surface. The stadium has a rich history, having hosted significant events such as the 1998 Allan Cup and the 2001 World Under 17 Hockey Championships. It was also the home of the Truro Bearcats junior hockey team until 2013. Beyond hockey, the venue accommodates local high school sports, minor hockey, lacrosse, and various community events like expos and flea markets. The arena underwent renovations in 2009, enhancing its facilities while slightly reducing its seating capacity. Notably, it hosted an NHL exhibition game between the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators in 2006, making it a landmark for sports enthusiasts and tourists alike.
