Pen-y-Clawdd Court

Pen-y-Clawdd Court is a stunning Grade I listed Tudor manor house located in Llanvihangel Crucorney, Monmouthshire, Wales, just a mile from the village. Dating back to around 1625, it stands on the site of the historic Penyclawdd Castle, with remnants of the Norman motte and bailey still visible. The house showcases remarkable architecture, including splendid chimney stacks and a unique L-shaped design made of coursed red sandstone. Inside, visitors can explore a maze of rooms that retain a 17th-century ambiance, featuring original beams, flagstone floors, and intricate fireplaces.
