John T. Hash House

The John T. Hash House, also known as Monahan House, is a historic building located in Dayton, Oregon, constructed around 1912. Recognized for its significance as one of the few Craftsman style homes in the area, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. The house features a distinctive shiplap exterior, a two-story square front section, and a one-story rear addition. Architectural highlights include crown-molded first-floor windows, an ornately designed front door with an oval glass-light, and a porch supported by classical turned columns. The property also includes a barn, contributing to its historical value, and remains well-preserved with minor alterations since its original construction.
