USS Constitution ('Old Ironsides') and Charlestown Navy Yard

USS Constitution, launched in 1797 and nicknamed 'Old Ironsides,' is berthed at the Charlestown Navy Yard and is the world's oldest commissioned naval vessel still afloat. The ship is part of the Boston National Historical Park and is interpreted for the public by staff and volunteers; the adjacent USS Constitution Museum provides exhibits about the ship's service and naval history.
