Twilight Epiphany Skyspace (James Turrell)

James Turrell's 'Twilight Epiphany' Skyspace on the Rice University campus is a site-specific light-and-architecture installation completed in 2012. The work consists of a pavilion with an oculus and programmable LED lighting that stages scheduled sunrise and sunset light shows for visitors. It was commissioned for Rice and is used for public events and ceremonial gatherings.
